Pioli praises initiative as Milan pledge to refund tickets for flood victims: “This is Milan”

Over 70,000 Rossoneri fans are expected at San Siro tomorrow for the game against Sampdoria, which is the penultimate home fixture of the season.

However, there are times when football takes a back seat and the floods that are currently devastating parts of northern Italy have made worldwide news.

As PianetaMilan report, Milan are offering a refund on ticket for tomorrow’s game for all fans residing in Emilia-Romagna, who will not be able to attend the match due to the current emergency.

To apply for it, simply send an email to rimborsi@acmilan.com forwarding the purchase confirmation email together with the PDF versions of the tickets purchased.

Furthermore, as communicated yesterday through its channels, the clubs directs all its passionate fans who wish to support relief efforts and the communities of Emilia-Romagna to the direct channel of the Civil Protection.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match, Stefano Pioli spoke on Milan’s decision to reimburse those who will not be able to come to San Siro for the match against Sampdoria.

“This is Milan. Good luck to the people who are suffering, hoping that everything can be resolved as soon as possible.”
