AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has stressed that his team must face the 2022-23 season with the right levels of awareness, regardless of the fixture list.
The Rossoneri face a challenging upcoming season because the pressure will be on Pioli’s men to try and defend their league title while also going further in the Champions League and possibly targeting the Coppa Italia too.
You can see the full list from Rounds 1 to 38 here, which begins with what is on paper a winnable home game against Udinese at San Siro to kick off the Scudetto defence, while we have also done a breakdown of the schedule including the key games and how rivals shape up.
Pioli was interviewed by ANSA regarding the fixtures being revealed ahead of the new season, with his comments relayed by SempreMilan.it.
“A competitive start to the season, but as we well know the calendar depends above all on our performances,” he said.
“It is not important who we face, what will make the difference is the level of awareness and the desire to always get back in the game after an exciting season after the Scudetto win and the love that has been demonstrated to us from all over the world. The goal is to grow. We can’t wait to start again!”
