Pioli reunites with Milan squad and meets new head coach Conceicao – photos

There was a special visitor at AC Milan’s training session this evening at the Al Shabab sports centre, as Stefano Pioli was there to see the team.

The Rossoneri had a second session this afternoon in preparation for tomorrow night’s match against Juventus and they received a pleasant surprise. Pioli, currently coach of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, stopped by to say hello.

The former Milan coach – who spent nearly half a decade at the club – said hello to all the players as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and also the new boss Sergio Conceiçao. The Parma coach will be in the stands tomorrow night to see his former team’s match live for the first time.

    1. It just so happens pioli is working in Saudi and his team plays on the stadium where supercup is taking place.
      How could they not meet?

    2. GRANDE PIOLI. Highly sought after manager who took a top job in the ̶P̶r̶e̶m̶i̶e̶r̶ ̶L̶e̶a̶g̶u̶e̶ Saudi Pro League after leaving Milan.

    3. Oh and despite having Ronaldo, Mane, Simakan (remember that guy?) and others he’s in 4th place, eleven points off first. Sounds about right, lol. Unfortunately, 4th doesn’t get you anything in that league.

      1. That’s sounds cool and all until you see the teams ahead of them are just as stacked if not better assembled across the pitch. Btw they were 7th when he took over.
Who knows what Pioli’s intentions are but he’s coached for 20 years now. Maybe he’s pining for the NT job after Spaletti finishes his term there

  1. Did anyone notice Pioli look fat in this picture…. he seems to have added some weight with a more lesser responsibility in Saudi

    1. Lol ikr. The players really love and still missed him. I personally wish the management give Pioli last chance with one more season. If he can’t win scudetto or CL then no renewal.

      1. he did got a last chance and one more season.. By all rights he should have been fired after 22/23.

And do people not remember, already, how sh*t we played in 23/24?

        1. I think they wanted to sack Pioli in 22/23 but it would be too much of shock after already getting rid of Maldini and Tonali. Still, we finished 23/24 in second place. This season there were slight improvements in some areas but overall a disaster.

          1. Says who? Did you see our defensive record last season?
That was a midtable defense. Where are we now? The writing was on the wall.
As for finishing second. We were shít others were just a bit more shît.
Dropped out of cl and scudeto race in December. If that isn’t being shît idk what is.
And it was all done by the supervision of one Stefano Pioli.

Why would you give another season to somebody who failed all their milestone by December?

            Baka
