Stefano Pioli already has ideas about how he is going to use Charles De Ketelaere and it will impact the market strategy, a report claims.
It was a long and very drawn out transfer saga surrounding De Ketelaere, but after undergoing his medical, signing his contract and being officially announced as a Milan player yesterday, he has officially begun his new adventure with the Rossoneri.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), there is a lot of curiosity to see how Pioli will use the 21-year-old on the field given that he the great coup of Milan’s summer market so far.
The young Belgian will start as a playmaker, but the currently feeling of the Milan head coach is that he can also be deployed as a right winger and for this reason there are no plans to sign another attacking player between now and the end of the window, the paper adds.
I hope we play him at AM, I think it’s great to have that versatility option with a player but I hope he can ground himself into that AM position to really maximise himself instead of switching a lot

The switching will be in between possesions so there won’t be point of reference.
That’s where my dilemma is, I’d love Adli to be getting game time as well so I’m quite baffled when it comes to that, then again they can play Charles at RW as at Brugge when on that said he was very productive at getting onto his left foot and getting into that half space to feed balls so I it’s an interesting case, but I’m not the one watching him at training 😅 so I’m sure Pioli will choose the best position for him, as well as incorporating Adli!

Jokes aside I hope to see him do well in an attacking midfield role. We’ve lacked a solid player there for years
Giroud as target man and behind him are 3 player like Leao ( LW) , Adili( AMF) , CDK ( RW) . Adili vision can read the games while brahim can come as supersub if adili fatigue
CDK is a CAM not a natural RW or Striker. Yes he can play there if needed – he’s that talented – but his best position is CAM. He wants the ball at his feet – not out wide on wing in space waiting for the ball – esp on the right side when we do the majority of our attacking on the Left side w Theo/Leao. What that means for Adli we will see as he has shown great promise and was a steal transfer for 8-10M. I’m sure Pioli will integrate both players into the starting 11 eventually. This year looks like if they want to share the field CDK will be at RW – But long term CDK is not a RW and that position needs to be addressed next summer or if we are lucky maybe in January
