AC Milan do not have much time to dwell on the draw against Roma as they will be back in action against Torino in the Coppa Italia tomorrow.
The games are coming thick and fast in the month of January following the winter break for the World Cup, and the Rossoneri will take to the field at San Siro once again tomorrow night looking to reach the cup quarter-finals.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli is also evaluating the possibility of deploying his team in a three-man defence from the first minute of the game.
Pioli has used three at the back as a solution in the past but has generally done so during games, including during Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Roma when it did not achieve the desired affect. To see it from minute one tomorrow might be a suggestion that the system is gaining more space in Pioli’s plans.
Nice one it worked really well on Sunday night wen used for 10 minutes now imagine the same thing but 9 times more time then on Sunday!
At least once a month the media comes out with this silly story that Pioli is thinking about 3 man defense.
How is he going to play with 3 in the back vs Torino when he only has 3 available CBs?
Thiaw is suspended, and Kjaer as usual is not fit.
What is wrong with the current formation? Are we not strong enough to play
