Sky: Pioli has two doubts ahead of Dinamo Zagreb trip – Rebic could start on the right

By Oliver Fisher -

Team news continues to emerge on the eve of AC Milan’s crucial game against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia in the Champions League.

According to Manuel Baiocchini of Sky (via MilanDay), Sergino Dest and Brahim Diaz did not train with the rest of the squad and they must be evaluated in the next hours to see if they will be fit enough to be called up for the game.

Regarding the team itself, Fikayo Tomori’s suspension plus the unavailability of Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi means Pierre Kalulu will be the right-back with Matteo Gabbia and Simon Kjaer the centre-backs.

In midfield Sandro Tonali will return to the starting line-up in the double pivot alongside Ismael Bennacer, while there are two battles in the attack as Rade Krunic and Charles De Ketelaere are jostling for the playmaker role while Junior Messias and Ante Rebic are in contention for the right wing. Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao will complete the attack.
