Phew! It ends 1-2 after nerve-racking minutes towards the end, following a push from Pisa and Rabiot’s red card. That said, Milan deserved the win tonight and made it unnecessarily exciting by switching off at the back on the goal.
The Frenchman gets another yellow for his words to the referee. That’s exactly what Milan didn’t need.
Just on the edge of the box, but looked a little bit cheap.

Milan dominated most of the first half, even if they didn’t always create chances, and the opening goal definitely wasn’t unfair. If anything logical. Great cross from Athekame (again), and another goal for RLC.
One minute added on.
That was an absolutely wonderful interception from Fofana. So clean despite it being at that pace.
Athekame receives the ball out wide and immediately sends it into the box, finding Loftus-Cheek with a fantastic cross. From that distance, the Englishman simply couldn’t miss.
Pisa 0-1 Milan
Actually, the angle was good for the Pisa attacker on the previous chance, but he was offside anyway.
