AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli might just have invented a new solution for the left-back role, which could influence the January transfer market.
Calciomercato.com recall that Tuesday’s friendly against Arsenal in Dubai saw Pioli use Pobega as a left-back for the first time, and he did not do too badly in the role. Of course, the choice was also conditions by the absence of Theo Hernandez and Fode Ballo-Toure, but it could become something more.

If a sufficient offer arrives for the Senegal international, it will be taken into consideration, especially now that Pobega could surpass him in the hierarchies. No concrete offers have yet arrived for Ballo-Touré, but the player is admired in Turkey and France.
