MN: Milan midfielder to extend contract until 2027 – announcement imminent

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are close to being able to announce a contract renewal as Tommaso Pobega will extend his deal at the club, a report claims.

Pobega has had loan spells with Pordenone, Spezia and Torino over the last three seasons to get some work experience under his belt before returning to Milan in the hopes of carving out a place in the midfield rotations under Stefano Pioli.

The 23-year-old is now up to speed with Serie A especially after his last loan spell under Ivan Juric, and although he has missed the last three preseason games due to a muscle issue the sensations have been good surrounding his prospects of staying.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the renewal of Pobega’s contract is imminent. Even though he is currently contracted until 2025, the management saw it necessary to try and push the deadline even further away, and soon he will be linked to Milan until 2027.
