Pobega hopes his ‘many friends’ at Milan celebrate the Scudetto: “I would be very happy”

By Oliver Fisher -

Tommaso Pobega has made it clear that he would celebrate a potential Scudetto for his parent club AC Milan if they were to get over the line.

Milan are currently two points above their rivals Inter going into the final three games of the season but the head to head advantage means that the Rossoneri need seven points from the last nine available in order to win a first league title since 2010-11.

Tommaso Pobega meanwhile was loaned out by Milan at the beginning of the season to Torino in order to get consistent playing time and aid his development in view of being assessed again this coming summer.

It is only natural therefore that the young Italian would like to come back and rejoin a squad buoyed by a trophy win. Pobega spoke in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport about the Scudetto race, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

“I don’t deny that I would be very happy with a possible Scudetto, I have many friends at Milan and last summer I also got to know Pioli’s working methods, so I certainly wish him well,” he said.
