CM: Premier League interest in Milan forward continues to grow

By Euan Burns -

The interest from the Premier League in AC Milan striker Divock Origi is growing and the Rossoneri are keen to sell him in the summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Belgian striker is viewed as being a major disappointment by the Rossosneri hierarchy and they are aware of the opportunity that he brings.

He joined last summer on a free transfer from Liverpool which means any fee that Milan can get for him this summer will be a profit.

The 27-year-old is thought to have a market among mid-table sides in the Premier League as well as the Turkish Super Lig. He has only managed to score twice all season and got one assist.

His deal runs until June 2026 so beyond the fact that Milan clearly want to sell him, they have got the bargaining power when it comes to a transfer fee this summer.

  1. I’d rather see him gone for free in the summer than stay until his contract runs out. Utterly useless. They should update the dictionaries and add his photo to the word describing “useless”.
