President Scaroni believes Milan will continue to be protagonists in the January market

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni has hinted that the club will continue to be protagonists in the January transfer window.

The Rossoneri have already been active in the mercato having secure the signings of Soualiho Meite from Torino on loan with an option to buy and Mario Mandzukic as a free transfer, with multiple sources claiming that Fikayo Tomori is close to signing as well from Chelsea.

Scaroni spoke at the Lega Assembly which was staged today in Milan, and he was interviewed by the reporters present.

He was asked if Milan will continue to be a protagonist in January, to which he added: “I would say yes, let’s hope for the best now.”

It could potentially be a hint from the Rossoneri president that there are still various negotiations in the pipeline, but it could also be that it is a simple generic hope that the team will strengthen, given it is unknown how much Scaroni is involved in day-to-day dealings on the market.
