Rafael Leao’s opener felt like the perfect scenario for Milan, getting that goal quite early against a side that is hard to break down. However, instead of acting as a boost for more attacking, the Rossoneri were pinned back by Udinese.

Although Udinese’s equaliser should have been ruled out, the game highlighted Milan’s struggles to kill a game against a bottom-half side. In fact, they have now dropped 12 points against teams placed in the bottom half, which obviously isn’t good enough.

Two draws against Udinese, losses against Spezia and Sassuolo, and the draw against Salernitana. These are results that certainly have affected their Scudetto pursuit and they need to bounce back asap, with pressure mounting on Pioli.
