MN: Probable Milan XI to face Udinese – Saelemaekers to start on the bench

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan return to action tomorrow night when they host Udinese at San Siro and Stefano Pioli appears to have made his selection choices.

According to MilanNews, Olivier Giroud will be the man leading the line again given that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still training alone due to Achilles discomfort, and the trident behind the Frenchman should compose of Rafael Leao on the left wing, Brahim Diaz as the playmaker and Junior Messias on the right wing.

Ante Rebic, Alexis Saelemaekers, Samu Castillejo and Daniel Maldini will all be on the bench hoping to make an impact, but we will have to wait a bit longer to see Marko Lazetic in the squad.

Franck Kessie comes back into the XI due to the absence of Ismael Bennacer who is suspended, so he will partner Sandro Tonali in the midfield with Rade Krunic and Tiemoue Bakayoko on the bench.

Mike Maignan will be in net and an unchanged back four of Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez should protect him, with Theo and Romagnoli a yellow card away from being suspended for the Napoli game.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
