GdS: Probable XIs for Lazio vs. Milan – no changes from loss against Inter

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will travel to the capital on Sunday to face Lazio in what is another crucial game in the bid to become Serie A champions for the first time in 11 years.

The Rossoneri challenge the Biancocelesti looking to redeem themselves after the heavy defeat in the derby against Inter in the Coppa Italia and to get their title bid firmly back on track, with Champions League qualification also close to being secured.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) report that Stefano Pioli should field Mike Maignan in between the posts with Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of him.

Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali should keep their place in the double pivot with Franck Kessie again being deployed in front of them behind the striker. Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao occupy the right and left wing, while Olivier Giroud will be the centre-forward as per the paper.

Probable Lazio XI (4-3-3): Strakosha; Lazzari, Luiz Felipe, Acerbi, Marusic; Milinkovic-Savic, Leiva, Luis Alberto; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo; Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Kessie, Leao; Giroud
