GdS: Milan preparing to replace crucial cog with PSG and Liverpool willing to meet €8m/yr demands

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are starting to feel a sense of resignation regarding Franck Kessie’s fate and are already thinking of how to replace him, a report claims.

Kessie’s situation has been well documented recently as the Ivorian has a contract which expires at the end of the season and there is seemingly nothing to suggest that an agreement over a renewal is imminent or even that there are constructive and positive talks.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) takes a look at the Kessie saga and confirms recent reports claiming that the Rossoneri management have made on offer worth over €6m net per season.

The player is asking for over €8m net per year though and there are a row of big European clubs ready to satisfy those demands. PSG and Liverpool are interested in the Ivorian midfielder but Inter, given the figures at stake, are not willing to enter the auction.

The paper adds how at Casa Milan they seem almost resigned to losing Kessie and are preparing to replace the player for next season.
