L’Equipe: PSG willing to let Milan target leave club on loan

By Euan Burns -

Paris Saint-Germain are willing to let AC Milan-linked striker Higo Ekitike leave the club on loan this summer after an underwhelming first season in Paris, a report claims.

As has been reported by French newspaper L’Equipe (via Calciomercato.com), the young striker has not been able to contribute as much as Christophe Galtier would have liked this season.

He joined the club in the summer from Stade Reims for a whopping €40 million but he has only got three goals and three assists in Ligue 1.

They are willing to let him leave on loan to get more game time, a decision that could be dependent on what happens with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi.

The clubs who have already shown interest in a loan deal are Juventus, Newcastle United, Eintracht Frankfurt and Milan. It is therefore clear that there is some strong competition for the Frenchman’s signature. He is still only 20 years old.

  1. That article is filled to the brim with infactual info

He isnt owned by psg but only is on loan with an option to buy and his contract with saint reims expires in 2024 so this article doesnt make much sense unless psg buys him which doesnt look likely considering his current stats.

      1. Ok that would be a different matter then but according to transfermarkt its onlly a loan with an option to buy but obviously they might be wrongly informed.
