It has indeed been a very lively start to the summer, with the Club World Cup participants looking to make some reinforcements. Manchester City have already reached an agreement with Milan over Tijjani Reijnders, while Chelsea are working on bringing in Mike Maignan.

In short, with Theo Hernandez expected to leave at some point this summer as well, Milan have decided to hit the reset button. Max Allegri will be facing an uphill battle, as such, and it remains to be seen if he can build a squad – along with Igli Tare – that’s competitive enough.
