QS: Milan cannot do without Ibrahimovic – the parties set to continue together until 2022

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic into his 40s and are preparing yet another renewal for the Swede, according to a report.

Ibrahimovic turned 39 on October 3 but continues to prove that age is just a number as his contributions to the team continue to be match-winning. In three league starts he has amassed three braces and therefore six goals, showing how his contribution on the pitch is fundamental as well as off it.

Speaking of that, since Zlatan arrived the Rossoneri have undergone a huge resurgence and it must be considered that the centre-forward has played a big part in changing the mentality in and around the training ground.

For this reason, the newspaper QS (via MilanLive) reports how Milan and Ibrahimovic are ready to continue together for yet another season. The renewal is ready, as well as for Gianluigi Donnarumma whose contract is also set to expire in June 2021.
