AC Milan fell to AS Roma at the weekend, but Claudio Ranieri was left confused by the performance of the Rossoneri.
Performances like Sunday’s are not new for Milan, especially not this season. When things have come to a halt (as they did on Wednesday against Bologna), the following result has normally shown the team to be shell-shocked a little.
It is a worrying sign of the mentality of the current Rossonero. However, with just one game left to play, there is time to recharge batteries, for fans and players, on the horizon. We cannot be on the beach just yet, though, as the Diavolo have a summer to try to save against Monza.
A win is a necessity if the club want to reach the top eight, though this is dependent on other results also, and Ranieri spoke a little about the current table to Rai Radio 1, via Milan Press.
“I told my players to be careful with Milan, because for me, they have the strongest players in Serie A. They won’t always play as a team, but when and if they do, it’s painful for everyone. How can they be ninth? Honestly, I can’t explain it to myself .”
Ranieri is a gentleman.
No point to criticize or hurt anyone.
His team had definitely the upper hand.
Thank you for your kindness 🙏🙏🙏
Bring ranieri! 😅
Everyone know that we are the strongest team in Italy but these cheap bas*tards failed to hire better couch
Correction: We are not a team at all. Not since the scudetto season when we didn’t have the best players but – in fact – the best team.
Claiming they’re cheap is a flat out lie. If you can’t make a valid criticism, and it’s very easy to make a valid criticism, remain silent. Don’t be a Ted. It’s embarrassing and reflects badly on the fanbase. You do not have an argument. Over €250 has been spent on players. The net spend argument is nonsense, because Milan’s net spend isn’t so different from Newcastle’s or Liverpool’s. The cheap players argument is also nonsense – go and look at the average cost of the players signed by Lazio, Atalanta and Inter for example.
Roma about to sign Klopp, while we are picking from thrash. Is Roma a bigger club than us?
His agent strongly denied it yesterday so as things stands it seems highly unlikely to happen.
at least they are in right mind how to build a team with extraordinary coach while we still fighting aganits our own b*stard management
Well according to media reports sure but the agent said they hadn’t been in contact with Roma and that it was just media lies so don’t see it as being a + of any kind. Personally I would love if we got Klopp but if its only a rumor its only a rumor, plain and simple as that.
When that is said I’m not too fond of our management either which probably can be said about 90+% of the clubs fans views.
