More reports have emerged claiming that AC Milan could be one of the teams at a preseason tournament in the United States in the upcoming summer, a report claims.
Reports in Italy from Tuttosport and those in Spain (via FootballItalia) are suggesting that Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid are working on a friendly tournament in the USA that would take place in July and the Rossoneri could also be invited as part of it.
Of course the striking thing is that the aforementioned trio of clubs were and still are the main protagonists of the breakaway European Super League project which has officially collapsed but there keeps being suggestions that a relaunch is imminent.
They are now plotting a friendly tournament to take place in the United States at the end of July, with the Serie A season to begin shortly afterwards (the weekend of August 13). It could be a kind of replacement for the International Champions Cup, if the plan is finalised.
