Charles De Ketelaere remains on Real Madrid’s radar after they looked at trying to sign him during the last summer window, a report claims.
De Ketelaere is not living up to expectations so far as he is yet to score a goal since arriving at Milan and he has just one assist to his name, which -considering his price was around the €30m mark – has been considered somewhat disappointing.

Defensa Central report that Real Madrid’s chief scout Juni Calafat has the Belgian on his radar but was not expecting to see him struggle so much. Los Blancos tested the ground over a potential move this past summer, but they considered that they already had several players in that role.
Real’s management are working on planning for the next season and several names are being looked at. De Ketelaere is still on the agenda, but the LaLiga champions are working on resolving the future of Marco Asensio and then they will know if a replacement is needed.
In addition, they are looking to sign a new striker to help Karim Benzema given he will remain as the only natural option for said position.

Exactly, just because Pioli doesn’t give young players game time in their best position isn’t the fault of the player same for adli, vranckx and Thiaw, to me these guys all have good talent but I guess Pioli would rather have gabbia instead of Thiaw, KRUNIC instead of vranckx and Diaz who will most probably leave end of the season instead of adli

Edgar David’s & Patrick were thought of major flops went on to other clubs and shined. That’s football . The skill is identifying a champion and De Ketelaere still has the pedigree and abilities to make it at the highest level.

On the contrary, I’m very much hoping this is true, because we’ll be able to recuperate most of what we spent on him. This is not me saying CDK is a bust or that I don’t rate him, but just a cold reflection of the reality of his situation with us. He could very well be another Paqueta. Just doesn’t fit with us. I’d rather get 30m for him in June than risk him languishing on the bench further because Pioli can’t get the best of him, or whatever reason he isn’t performing with us. We need the funds of other areas that need emergency improvement, like ST, RW and CDM.
Can’t wait for him to be sold at a cut rate price in 18 months and thrive elsewhere because Pioli refused to play him and allow him to actually grow.
But hey, at least this season is going great for Milan so it’s hard to complain.
Are you blind? Pioli keeps playing CDK despite he didn’t give big impact for the results. Pioli also the first one who asked people to be patience with CDK and reminded everyone young players needs time to adapt, just like what happened with Tonali and Leao.
