Sky journalist believes absence of winger ‘Milan have a great need for’ is not being talked about enough

By Oliver Fisher -

Sky journalist Fabio Tavelli has highlighted Ante Rebic’s absence as being a big blow for AC Milan that isn’t being talked about enough.

It was a nightmare of an afternoon yesterday for the Rossoneri as they lost their second straight game in Serie A with Sassuolo running out 3-1 winners at San Siro thanks to goals from Gianluca Scamacca and Domenico Berardi plus an own-goal.

Nobody had a great game for Milan but one player who looked to struggle was Rafael Leao as the Portuguese winger appeared tired and rarely got into the match much after being involved in a bright start, bar missing with a second half shot. He is being asked to work overtime at the moment though because of Ante Rebic’s injury.

Speaking on Sky microphones, Fabio Tavelli spoke about Milan’s defeat against Sassuolo and about the tiredness that the squad may be feeling given their lack of depth due to injuries and the hectic schedule.

“Pioli said that it is not tiredness also because he does not want to cling to this. We must give great credit to Sassuolo who played well and the games, at times, are lost because the others were good. The absence of Rebic is not sufficiently weighed also because Milan have a great need for Rebic,” he said (via MilanNews).

  1. Saelemaekers isn’t a winger, YouTube often makes average players look good, but Saelemaekers is the exception, and whoever thinks he should be starter at Milan doesn’t like Milan or know football. 33 games no goal, that speaks for itself!!!

  2. Can saelmaekers be sold pls.

Use messias as starting RW and florenzi as sub.

We have Calabria and kalulu to cover the RB position.

Use the funds from saelmaekers purchase to get another decent winger.

    That guy doesn’t know shit
