Ante Rebic has been left out of the squad entirely for the third game running despite having no injury, prompting serious questions about his AC Milan future.
Just like last weekend against Juventus, Stefano Pioli decided to leave Rebic out of the squad by choice. In other words, the winger is not injured and could have been available tonight, but the manager chose not to call him up.
MilanNews reported earlier in the week that the Croatian’s professionalism seems to have waned in addition to his form. His exclusion against Juve on Sunday came from the fact the former Frankfurt man showed behaviour and an attitude that Pioli and his staff did not like at all.
The fact that he has been left out again is a pretty glaring indication that he is not a part of the plans. Rebic could return to the Bundesliga, where he has done well in the past and apparently has some admirers.
