AC Milan winger Ante Rebic believes he and his team-mates have ‘prepared well’ for Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina clash against Inter.
Milan will be looking to continue their positive momentum so far in 2020, but will do so when they face their toughest opponent thus far this year.
The Rossoneri will be looking to secure their first league win over Inter in four years and put a huge dent in the Scudetto hopes of their neighbours, who have struggled for form since the turn of the year.
The 19 point gap between the two teams is a daunting one, and with Inter being the ‘home’ team many are tipping them as favourites, but the Croatia international is not worried.
Rebic spoke to Milan TV before the game, and insisted the squad are in a positive mood, with MilanNews.it transcribing his comments.
“The derby is a great game. We prepared well, we hope to win. In January we changed a lot, new players arrived such as Ibra, Kjaer and Begovic. We hope to do good tonight,” he said.
