Tijjani Reijnders’ outstanding 2024-25 season continued on international duty, as he scored for the Netherlands against Spain last night.
Returning to De Kuip, where Milan lost the first leg of their Champions League play-off tie against Feyenoord last month, Reijnders and Jeremie Frimpong put together a simply outstanding goal.
With the game tied at 1-1, the midfielder and the wing-back cut through the Spain rearguard with some fantastic pass-and-move football.
It ended with a lovely shot from Reijnders, who found the bottom corner from the edge of the box. The game would go on to finish 2-2, with the return leg on Sunday.

It may be wishful thinking, but for some reason i feel a 3412 and a player like frimpong can catapult milan, with the correct guidance. 3cbs, walker and a mix between the other cbs we have, puli/frimpong on the right, theo/puli on the left, tij free role, fofana and another mid, rafa and santi upfront
Trademark ‘razoterra’ finish by Reijinders. Beautiful goal.
Our problems aren’t on the wings. They are in midfield.
Bring back Tonali!
