Relevo: New talks expected in Milan’s renewed pursuit of Valencia midfielder

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are set to hold fresh talks with Valencia as they seek to strike a deal for American midfielder Yunus Musah, a report claims.

As has been reported by Relevo, the Rossoneri are reigniting their interest in the player that was so impressive during the 2022 World Cup.

He was one of the key players for the United States of America in Qatar and that led to a spike of interest in his services. Milan were one of the interested teams and now they are trying again in the wake of Sandro Tonali’s exit.

Valencia want to receive a fee of around €30 million, and their bargaining position is strengthened by the fact that they managed to avoid relation from La Liga.

Milan will soon be in direct talks with Valencia to understand if there is much in the way of wriggle room with that transfer fee. The likes of West Ham have been interested in the past.

  1. Wiggle room? That is the price, take it or leave it. Stop ruining our reputation and waisting everyone’s time. Make an offer where you value him, they will respond to it. If not, look elsewhere.

    1. He’s rated at 18m on transfer market to be fair. Milan just can’t come in and play 30-50% above market value like many teams do, not would I want them to. I do like Musah though and if they could split the difference at ~24m it could be a good deal.

  2. At this rate, why don’t we just took up the option on Vranckx just to at least have some guys who are familiar with the tactics? Dude at least showed something before that Roma games, and he is also Belgian U21 capt, surely we can sell him for profits if it doesn’t work out. After all, 12M on a promising young player is not that bad of a deal.

Needing to fill 2 midfielders in less than 2 months isn’t ideal, hopefully whoever comes in, could settle/adapt fast.
