Relevo: Valencia’s firm stance and training alone – the latest on the Musah saga

The Yunus Musah situation risks descending into a saga as Valencia will not budge from their stance despite AC Milan’s latest offer, a report claims.

Relevo are reporting that Musah only wants Milan and he is not training with the rest of the Valencia squad due to what is being labelled as knee discomfort but certainly appears to be a smokescreen given the ongoing negotiations.

Valencia have been asking for €25m since the start of the window but have also made it clear that a fixed €20m offer opens the possibility that Peter Lim will accept. Said proposal has not arrived since the last offer of €18m including bonuses.

Despite the fact the USA international wants the move, Valencia are not shifting from their stance, but Milan eventually paying €28m (including bonuses) for Samuel Chukwueze and the other signings they have made shows that the Rossoneri do raise bids.,

Musah really does have knee discomfort though, as per the report, while Valencia are surprised by the news being published suggesting he is trying to force a move because so far everything has been amicable.

It was the player himself who requested not to play in the first pre-season friendly because he had Milan’s promise that they would make a second offer that would reach €20m.

Valencia accepted because both parties have agreed on his sale and they understood that the 20-year-old did not want to take risks, but said offer did not arrive on the day of the first friendly, nor did it come for €20m,

That led Musah to travel to Switzerland, and as long as he is a part of the squad the LaLiga side will continue to treat everything as normal.

    1. Even if they agreed a fee today, by the time contractual stuff and medicals and that was sorted, they’ll be back in Italy anyway.

  1. Just forget this guy already and move on, Domingues is a far better option, cheaper, experienced in the league and more defensive, which is what we need
