There is increasing confidence that AC Milan will be able to agree a renewal with Gianluigi Donnarumma in the coming weeks, it is claimed.
Donnarumma’s current contract with Milan expires in 2021, meaning the club must try and agree terms over a new deal by the start of next season or seriously consider a sale to avoid losing him for free in a year’s time.
Radio Rossonera journalist Pietro Balzano Prota did a Twitch stream on Tuesday afternoon to update fans on the mercato, and he provided some information on Szoboszlai.
As per @AC_MilanFR, Prota stated the Donnarumma will stay at Milan and he has told told his friends and team-mates that he wants to remain a Rossoneri player.
The most likely scenario is a renewal until 2023 or 2024 with a fixed salary between €5.5million and €6.5million per year. There may be a slight drop in salary offset by a series of bonuses, Prota adds.
