L’Equipe: Renato Sanches saga could soon have an end as PSG plot decisive swoop

By Oliver Fisher -

The Renato Sanches may take a final and definitive swing this week as Paris Saint-Germain have a plan in mind, according to a report.

According to L’Equipe (via MilanNews), PSG’s new sporting director Luis Campos would like Renato Sanches’ transfer to PSG to be completed before Wednesday, which is the day when the Ligue 1 champions will return to train in France after their tour in Japan.

However, there is significant work to do before that becomes a reality as there is currently nothing close to an agreement between PSG and Lille, and the negotiation between the two clubs has not yet made significant progress.

Nonetheless, the feeling is that PSG could relaunch and close the deal in a matter of hours given their considerable economic resources, which might be why Carney Chukwuemeka of Aston Villa is a name that the Rossoneri management are now looking at with more and more temptation.

  1. Haha. And now report from France tell us that Psg are ready to offer 23 mill euros for Carney C. Stealing all our midfielders…

  2. Why the hell will Milan offer 3.2m for Sanchez? That is poor for a mildfeilder of Sanchez calibre, if he takes 3.2 now FOr 5 years, how can he make more when he gets older (29/30)…this is not fair, sanchesz deserves atleast 4mil.

I don’t like this from Milan, this is a shame

    1. Not sure if you noticed but whenever a player has a good season they are rewarded with a new contract… Tonali after one season, Tomori after 1 season, kalulu after 1 season.

Nothing wrong with making a player prove their worth before meeting their requests. Also keeps the wage low enough that they don’t become a weight on the budget like Aaron Ramsey at Juventus who won’t leave because no one will pay his massive wages if we want to sell him.

Also shows great character from a player if they go about it like that… Tonali, Tomori, Kalulu, Theo, Calabria.
