AC Milan are closing in on agreeing a new contract with Fikayo Tomori, something Massimiliano Allegri has been pushing for.
As Calciomercato.com report, Allegri was an important factor in getting Tomori back to his near-best form, and the coach has also been a big sponsor of the contract renewal that ‘will be completed’ in the coming weeks.
The English defender has earned the full trust of Allegri, who has deployed him consistently this season. For his part, Tomori has remained consistent with his vision: Milan is his priority, always and in every way.
New deal imminent
Tomori’s contract expires in 2027, and he’s awaiting a call from his agent to come to the club’s headquarters and sign the contract. After saying no to Tottenham and other English clubs, the former Chelsea man is preparing to pen a new agreement that will strengthen his six-year bond with Milan.
Contacts between the two sides are fairly constant. Discussions are underway regarding the final salary figure and the final length of the new deal. After securing the signature of Mike Maignan, another pillar of the rearguard will soon be rewarded too.
Tomori is ‘extremely happy’ at Milan and wants to continue his time with the club, despite what could be obvious temptations to return to his home country.

I think it was very big mistake selling Kalulu and not Tomori. Kalulu still young becomed much more better than Fik.
Did you noticed how many missed touch with ball Fik have? How many times he is in unsure situations even with teams.that fight for survival…
Kalulu and Thiaw were both sold because they delivered huge increase on original transfer cost. And the players were happy to leave.
Tomori seems determined to stay and it’s unlikely anyone will offer more than Milan invested to buy him.
All 3 are the same level players.
The only differences is the age.
Big mistake. He’s the fourth choice CB.
Average quality defender. I would sell him in a blink of an eye.
Okay people, but if we are lucky enough to qualify for CL, we need players for rotational purposes. Better to have an experienced defender who wants to wear the shirts and can be a leader in the dressing room. This renewal is far from bad, unless we don’t qualify for CL
