Rennes president confirms €50m Milan, Real Madrid and Liverpool target is going nowhere

AC Milan and Real Madrid are set to be disappointed as Stade Rennais starlet Eduardo Camavinga will not be moving this summer.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for the 17-year-old over the past few months, with French outlet RMC Sport even stating Milan opened talks with the player’s entourage to gauge interest over a possible move.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Barcelona have all been credited with interest by various sources too, but reports have claimed that Real Madrid have the most concrete interest in the teenager.

However, the French club’s president Nicolas Holveck has declared that the midfielder will not be going anywhere this summer.

“We have agreed with Eduardo that he will stay with us next season,” Holveck confirmed (via Marca).

“He is a smart player and he knows where his sporting interest would be best served at the moment.

“Irrespective of that, we haven’t actually received any offers for him.”

Mundo Deportivo (via Calciomercato.com) published a report claiming that Stade Rennais have set their asking price at €50m for Camavinga, with Real Madrid and Milan cited as having interest.
