AC Milan are in ‘advanced talks’ with the agent of Celtic star Kristoffer Ajer over a summer move, a journalist has claimed.
In recent weeks, various outlets have linked Ajer with Milan, with it seemingly being no secret that the club’s hierarchy are trying to find captain Alessio Romagnoli a long-term partner. The 21-year-old’s contract with Celtic will expire in 2022 and Milan have been keeping tabs on him for quite some time.
Arsenal and Leicester are the other two teams who have recently been linked with Ajer, while a previous report from Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it) claimed that the Scottish side value the youngster at over €30million.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schria on Twitter, Milan are in a battle with Leicester for the signing of Ajer.
However, he hints that the Rossoneri are ahead in the race as CEO Ivan Gazidis is in ‘advanced talks’ with the agent of the Norwegian international.
