AC Milan’s owners Elliott Management are ready to put their full trust in Ralf Rangnick to help lead a revolution because of one reason, a report claims.
There has been an abundance of speculation regarding the possibility of Rangnick joining Milan this summer, with some outlets claiming that the deal is virtually done while others deny any certainty in the negotiations.
According to what Tuttosport are reporting on Friday (via MilanNews), Elliott have set their sights on appointing the German because of his previous exploits.
Rangnick has discovered many talents who have now become great players, with Erling Haaland cited as one of the best examples of this. The Borussia Dortmund striker has so far scored 40 goals in 33 games (including the first part of the season during which he played at Red Bull Salzburg).
The paper explains that Elliott wants to bring the former Schalke and Hoffenheim boss to Milan at all costs precisely because of his great ability to discover talents to be launched and then eventually resold for big gains.
