Report: Juventus ready to pounce as Milan prepare renewal offer for key star

By Oliver Fisher -

Juventus have not given up on the idea of signing AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma and could be assisted by Mino Raiola, a report claims.

There has been an abundance of speculation in the media regarding what the future holds for Donnarumma as his deal expires in 2021, meaning the club must try reach an agreement over an extension before the season resumes or sell to avoid the risk of losing him for free.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus have been at the window for months observing the situation surrounding Donnarumma, from the end of 2019 onwards in fact.

The Bianconeri are awaiting developments on the negotiations between Donnarumma, Raiola and Milan. If in the end there was an agreement between the parties, it would certainly not be a surprise, but if not then Juve are ready to launch an assault.

Despite Wojciech Szczesny’s recent contract extension, the Old Lady’s management are aware he is 30 years old now and the chance to land Donnarumma is almost too tempting.

Milan are ready to offer a two-year extension to Gigio with a base salary slightly lower than the current €6million net but with bonuses that would allow it to rise above that, with the possible inclusion of a release clause.
