Report: LaLiga side determined to sign AC Milan full-back in January

By Oliver Fisher -

Sevilla are insisting on signing AC Milan full-back Davide Calabria in the January transfer window, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com) recently reported that Calabria has reached an agreement over a new long-term deal at Milan, but despite this his future at the club is seemingly still firmly in doubt.

The 22-year-old has been sent off twice this season already and has seemingly lost his starting spot to Andrea Conti for the time being, who has been impressive since his return to the fold.

MilanNews.it first reported that Calabria seems to be attracting the interest of several clubs including Sevilla, who in January could make an offer for the defender.

According to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo – as cited by Calciomercato.com – the Andalusian club are in search of the heir to Corchia, who was sold to Espanyol in the summer and never replaced.

In January, they are keen on signing Calabria to replace him, though a potential asking price is not mentioned.
