AC Milan have been joined by Leicester City in the race to sign Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, reports in England claim.
A number of reports from a variety of different sources have claimed that Jovic is Milan’s number one target to reinforce their attacking department this summer despite such a toughs season at Real Madrid.
However, according to Enlgish tabloid The Sun, Leicester also have a concrete interest in the 22-year-old as Brendan Rodgers looks for a striker to partner Jamie Vardy next season, especially in the event of Champions League qualification.
Jovic is their primary target, and the paper adds that a £31million bid is ready to try to convince Real Madrid to give up on the Serb after just one season, equal to around €35m.
It could present a real problem for Milan who at the moment are apparently only willing to offer a two-year loan with option or obligation to buy, whereas Leicester’s offer would provide cash up front.
