Report: Lucas Leiva told disabled Milan press officer to ‘sit there and shut up’

By Oliver Fisher -

Lazio midfielder Lucas Leiva told AC Milan’s disabled press officer to ‘sit there and shut up’ following Saturday’s heated encounter.

The game was particularly heated both in the build-up and the minutes following the game, with a post-match brawl and an incident involving Tiemoue Bakayoko and Franck Kessie dangling Francesco Acerbi’s shirt to mock him.

However further shocking details have emerged from Tuesday’s edition of Il Messaggero, which claims that officials are aware of a confrontation between Leiva and the Rossoneri’s press officer Ugo Allevi.

The Brazilian reportedly told Allevi to “just sit there and shut up”, which understandably was met with an expletive response.

The comment is rightly being viewed as extremely distasteful given that Allevi is a wheelchair user, and it is impossible to see how the former Liverpool man could possibly go unpunished once the report is formally looked over.
