AC Milan are one of the clubs who are interested in landing defender Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina, according to a report.
The 23-year-old is under contract until June 2022 with several top European clubs interested in signing him on a potential cut-price deal this summer as the Serbia international looks unlikely to renew at this stage.
Transfer journalist Constantin Eckner claims that Manchester United are in talks with Milenkovic’s representatives, a player they believe ‘offers as much quality as many other top defenders’ but would be available for just £30m (around €35m).
Stretty News report that they have reached out to a source close to the player, and that source confirmed the Red Devils are indeed interested, but it is not as strong an interest as some of Italy’s biggest clubs. Juventus, Milan and Napoli are all currently battling it out to secure the defender, the report adds.
