Report: Milan, Arsenal and Napoli alerted as Espanyol star becomes available for €20m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reignited their interest in Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca after they were relegated to the second division, a report claims.

The Rossoneri have been persistently linked with a move for Roca over the past few weeks ahead of a summer that is likely to see them make wholesale changes in the midfield department.

MilanNews were the first to report that Milan have set their sights upon Espanyol’s 23-year-old central midfielder, while Sport added that the player has a release clause of €40million and has already received an offer from Arsenal regarding a summer move.

According to the latest from calcioomercato.it, in Serie A it is Milan and Napoli who have set their sights on Roca. Despite relegation, Espanyol do not intend to give away their prized asset on the cheap, and an asking price of €20m has been set.

The Barcelona-based club are targeting promotion and an immediate return to LaLiga. There is willingness to negotiate the sale of Roca, but only at the right amount, something Milan, Napoli and other suitors are aware of.
