AC Milan could open talks with Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer regarding the future of Ante Rebic, according to a report.

The Croatia international joined on deadline day in the summer on a two-year loan deal from the Bundesliga side, with striker Andre Silva heading in the opposite director on the same terms.

After struggling for playing time initially, Rebic has found himself as a vital part of the team under Stefano Pioli having netted four of the Rossoneri’s last seven goals in all competitions.

According to MilanLiveRebic is also expected to wear the Milan shirt next year despite speculation throughout December that his loan could possibly be terminated early.

The agreement with the Germans as mentioned is a two-year loan, but if it continues this way, it is not excluded that the parties will talks about fixing a price to make it a permanent move in the summer.

It is worth noting that Andre Silva has returned to goalscoring form too, it cannot be ruled out that the deal could go through with just a simple exchange.
