Report: Milan in talks as Rangnick identifies No.1 striker target – Real Madrid’s stance

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in constant contacts to try and seal a deal for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, according to a report.

Calciomercato.it are claiming that Milan are concentrating their efforts on finding the heir to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ralf Rangnick – who will be the new coach and sporting director of the Rossoneri – has chosen Luka Jovic as the man he wants to lead the line next season.

The Serbia international has been virtually ostracised by Zidane and the player has done nothing to make him change his mind, especially off the field where his conduct has been questionable.

Real Madrid are ready to loan the 22-year-old out given that a generating capital gains from a permanent exit is practically impossible at this point, as last summer he cost €60million.

Therefore for Milan it certainly represents an interesting market opportunity, and his agent Fali Ramadani is expected shortly in Italy to meet the Rossoneri with contacts between the parties ongoing.
