AC Milan are continuing to work on the signing of two players currently residing in London, according to a report.
Stefano Pioli’s squad are set to reconvene at Milanello on August 24 to begin preseason preparations, but so far there has been virtually no movement regarding renewals, new transfers or even warm-up games.
However, things are beginning to spring into life. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s new contract is expected to be announced over the weekend, while it seems as though some movements are being made to finally secure some additions to the squad.
According to Vito Angele on Twitter, Milan are currently conducting a double operation in London, as the club are working to sign midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea and right-back Serge Aurier from Tottenham.
The journalist adds that they could be the first two signings for Pioli’s Milan this summer, implying there is some confidence regarding the successful outcome of the negotiation.
Two negotiations are ongoing for Milan in London: Milan continues work in order to lower the prices of #Aurier and #Bakayoko. They could be the first few signings for Pioli’s Milan.
