AC Milan are one of the clubs in the running to land Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, according to a report, but Juventus are on pole.

Several reports have emerged over the last few days claiming that the Rossoneri are in the market for a new right winger and Chiesa’s name has emerged repeatedly as a possible target.

According to Wednesday’s edition of il Corriere Fiorentino (via MilanNews), Sunday’s match against SPAL may have been Chiesa’s last game with the Fiorentina shirt.

President Rocco Commisso has actually opened up to the idea of his departure, provided that the right offer arrives, and the paper explains how Juventus remain on pole, followed by Inter, but now the Rossoneri are also interested.

Former coach Stefano Pioli would like to reunite with the 22-year-old again after having helped launch him during his time with La Viola.

Chiesa also remains in the sights of Manchester United, the outlet adds, but in view of the European Championships next summer he prefers to stay and play in Italy.

Milan also have an important card to play in their favour in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s stay, as Chiesa could grow a lot alongside a player like him.
