Report: Milan smile as €5m should arrive from permanent sale of defensive outcast

AC Milan are currently focused on the Scudetto race, with four games remaining, but they also have an eye on the upcoming summer mercato. By the looks of it, they will get an additional €5m to spend.

Leo Duarte, who arrived in 2019 and only made nine appearances for Milan, is expected to join Basaksehir on a permanent basis. He joined the Turkish side on an 18-month loan and he has done enough to convince the club.

As per Ekrem Konur, Basaksehir have decided to sign the defender permanently and as he added to SempreMilan, the fee should be around €5m. It’s not a huge amount but it will still help Milan for the summer mercato.

Furthermore, given how Duarte performed for the Rossoneri, it’s positive to get something out of his exit. Milan, as we know, paid around €10m for his services and it was one of Leonardo’s failed signings.
