Report: Milan want to include buy-back as midfielder edges closer to Atalanta

Milan have been very active on the transfer market thus far and it doesn’t look like this will change any time soon. While reinforcements are very important, they also need to offload a few players.

Tommaso Pobega is one of the players who could leave the Rossoneri this summer. Not so much because he isn’t good enough, but rather because he doesn’t fit the system and also needs a lot of playing time due to his young age.

According to the latest reports from Eco Di Bergamo, as cited by MilanNews, Atalanta are in advanced talks with Milan over the services of the midfielder. In fact, the deal should be closed by the parties at €12m plus bonuses.

Having said that, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have made it clear that they want a buy-back clause in the deal. After all, Pobega has a lot of potential and Milan at least want to have the chance of bringing him back.
