Report: Milan ‘working in silence’ on signings; Maldini trying to re-sign Chelsea midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are ‘working in silence’ on the current transfer market, a journalist has claimed, but the links with Tiemoue Bakayoko seem to be correct.

Depending on which media outlet you believe, Milan are either signing three or four players to try and complete the jigsaw puzzle they have begun constructing under Stefano Pioli, or they are targeting a player in almost every position to add depth.

However, some fans are beginning to become frustrated at a perceived lack of movement and urgency regarding the incoming market.

Vito Angele spoke to TeamMilanAC on Twitter, claiming that Milan are working in silence as things stand, keeping a low profile just like they did in the 2019 summer window.

He references the fact that no major source picked up on interest in Theo Hernandez until the day the deal was completed, and the same with Ante Rebic who joined from Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.

Angele adds that Milan are trying to get Bakayoko back. He’s a player that Maldini likes a lot and Pioli also seems happy with the possibility of being able to coach him.
