Report: Napoli, PSG circle as Chelsea decide to sell midfielder – player is waiting for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not alone in their pursuit of Tiemoue Bakayoko, it is claimed, as in fact five other clubs are keen on signing him.

Negotiations between Milan and Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko have been one of the biggest sagas of the transfer market campaign. After at first it seemed a formality that Bakayoko would return, it is now uncertain when a decisive breakthrough could occur, one way or another.

According to the latest from journalist Nicolo Schira, Bakayoko is continuing to wait for Milan to make a decisive move and agree a deal with Chelsea, suggesting his priority is a return to the San Siro.

Meanwhile, there is no shortage of enquiries of other teams for the Frenchman, who remains out of the plans of Chelsea. The last club to begin talks with the entourage of the 26-year-old (after Crystal Palace, PSG, Galatasaray and Real Betis) was in fact Milan’s rivals Napoli.
