AC Milan are keen on signing Sandro Tonali from Brescia and will make further evaluations but are put off by his high cost, it is claimed.
Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) reported immediately after the 4-2 win over Juventus on Tuesday night that Milan are back in the race for Tonali.
The 20-year-old has previously admitted that he is a fan of the Rossoneri and while it was expected that Inter would seal a deal for his services, reports of a hijack from Milan have persisted.
According to what is being reported by Vito Angele on Twitter, Rangnick is a big fan of Tonali but at the moment cannot justify spending half of his budget on one player, so Inter remain ahead in the race. Further evaluations will be made in the coming days, he adds.
La Gazzetta dello Sport recently reported that Brescia are demanding €50m for Tonali, a figure that Juventus, Inter and Milan will not pay.
We must try to sign Tonali, by including some other players to that deal, in order to lower his price tag!
