Report: Rangnick holds talks with €25m Salzburg star over Milan move – blow for Arsenal

By Oliver Fisher -

Incoming AC Milan manager Ralf Rangnick has made Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai a priority target, a report claims.

We have previously reported – via our correspondent Vito Angele – that the Rossoneri have made the Hungarian midfielder one of their priorities for next season.

With the links continuing, Szoboszlai has dropped another hint on Instagram about the possible move, liking a graphic regarding his potential transfer to Milan, and then his father did the same to really intensify the speculation.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Szoboszlai is absolutely a priority to the point that there have been close dialogues in which the manager asked him to be patient and confirmed that his name is at the top of the list.

There is a €25million release clause that needs paying in what could become an auction, but Milan considers the 19-year-old a signing of fundamental importance.

The agents know plenty of teams are interested in a boy of extraordinary talent, destined to grow more and more, something Milan want to be a part of.
